Privacy Policy

PageTrail ("we") monitors public web pages that you ask us to track and sends you summaries of changes. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Account data: your email address, name and profile image if you sign in with Google.
• Your configuration: the competitors and URLs you track, Slack webhook URLs you provide.
• Public page content we fetch from the URLs you track, and change summaries we generate from it.
• Basic technical data: IP address (for rate limiting and security) and session cookies required to keep you signed in.

How we use it

• To provide the service: fetch pages, detect changes, generate AI summaries and send digests and alerts.
• To prevent abuse of the free tools.
• We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

Processors

We use: Vercel (hosting and AI gateway), our database provider, Resend (email delivery), our payment provider (subscription billing), and third-party AI model providers via Vercel AI Gateway for summarizing page changes. Only public page content is sent to AI models.

Retention and deletion

Data is kept while your account is active. Removing a competitor deletes its tracked pages and changes. To delete your account and all data, email us and we will do so within 30 days.
