The quiet repricing

We diffed a year of pricing pages for 53 popular SaaS tools. 41 of them changed pricing or packaging at least once in the last 12 months, and most never announced it. Here are the changes worth knowing about.

  1. Linear · Oct → Dec 2025

Both paid tiers up $2 per user

Basic went from $8 to $10 per user/month and Business from $14 to $16. A 14–25% increase, shipped without a blog post.

  2. Netlify · Sep → Dec 2025

Same Pro price, fewer included credits

The Pro plan's included credits dropped from 5,000 to 3,000. The sticker price didn't move; what you get for it did.

  3. lemlist · Apr → Jul 2026

    Flat pricing, then a $39 → $69 jump

lemlist moved its plans from per-user to flat pricing in spring 2026, and two months later the $39 plan became $69.

  4. Clay · Jan → Apr 2026

    Public prices removed

Clay's pricing page stopped listing plan prices. Usually a sign of moving upmarket to sales-led deals.

    Per-user prices no longer shown

Atlassian's Jira pricing page no longer shows the per-user Standard and Premium prices it used to list.

  6. Intercom · May → Jul 2026

Startup discount up from 90% to 93%

Going the other way: Intercom made its early-stage program more generous, a classic move to win startups before competitors do.

Takeaway: Prices rarely go up in the headline number. They go up in included usage, in hidden prices and in quiet $2 bumps nobody notices until renewal.

Every change is verified against archived snapshots of the page (Internet Archive) and quoted from the page itself.
